What is Legal Paternity Testing?

Legal paternity or court-admissable results provide evidence in court cases that involve the need for DNA. This can include divorce, child custody or immigration. A fully accredited testing laboratory for DNA can provide legal paternity testing.

When samples are collected photo-id and fingerprints are required to verify the identity of the people involved. The process is very simple and can be done performed at 1000s of laboratories located in the United States. Multiple laboratories can be used if people are located in different states or cities.
